The Proctowash™ is specifically designed to enable intra-operative elimination of exfoliated tumor cells from the rectum and distal colon. Studies show comprehensive irrigation of the area removes these cells¹·² and the Proctowash™ is a compact, sealed irrigation system for this purpose.

The product is also very useful as an intra-operative prep of the rectum and distal colon and is ideal for use as part of a protocol to reduce the use of pre-op bowel prep³.
